Polina Yarova
Dr Polina L. Yarova is a translational pharmacologist with expertise in calcium-sensing receptor signalling, inflammation and human disease modelling. Her work has helped define the role of CaSR in inflammatory lung disease, including airway inflammation, remodelling and fibrosis, and has explored calcilytics as potential therapeutic modulators. Her current research interests focus on CaSR-targeted pharmacology, human-relevant disease models and mechanisms underlying variable therapeutic responses in inflammatory disease.
