Yaoxi Xiong
I am a PhD candidate at the Fertility Research Centre, UNSW Sydney. My research focuses on preimplantation embryo development, embryo quality assessment, and the application of advanced imaging technologies in reproductive biology. I use non-invasive light-sheet fluorescence microscopy and metabolic imaging approaches to investigate how environmental factors influence embryo developmental competence and metabolic function. My goal is to identify biomarkers of embryo health and contribute to the development of improved embryo assessment strategies for assisted reproduction.
